Lake Suwa is a picturesque lake located in the city of Matsumoto, Japan. The lake is known for its beautiful scenery, crystal clear water and the annual Onbashira festival.

The best way to reach Lake Suwa is by train. From Matsumoto Station, take the JR Chuo Line to Shimosuwa Station. From there, it's a short bus ride to the lake.

There is no admission fee to visit Lake Suwa, but boat tours and other activities are available for a fee. Boat tours are available from April to November, and cost around 1,000 yen per person.
